ORA error 7445 [message #55290]

Sir
I am working as an Oracle DBA,we have an HP9000 server
with HP-UX 11.0 as OS and Oracle 8.0.5 as RDBMS.I got
a strange error in which the listener stopped automatically.I referred the trace file,it shown me
error no 7445 exception encountered core dump.I
wanted to know what could be the problem.
Waiting for a solution to the problem.

Hello,

try setting off the db_block_lru_extended_statistics in init.ora. This is applicable if the Core dump parameters are [[0]][[0]][[0]][[0]][[]][[]]

Also see what others have to say about this..

The first two arguments are very important in coredumps and ora-600 errors.
can you post the part of the trace file? with exact messages.

The Ora-7445 error is an internal error and should be dealt with by contacting the Oracle Support Team. There is also an article on the web that deals with Ora-7445 here...

you can see the detail reseaon in the metalink by using ora-600 tool
