hi sirs,
is it posibel to transfer databse from windows 2000 to unix server . I know that is posible to export from old and import to the new one
but I want know if its posible by anather way step by step if you please.

Please read/research about it first.
SQL methods are time consuming( to setup ) and not easily feasible in your case( you need to have a parallel instance). You can make use of Materialized views. But still, it will minimize the downtime (depends on your volume) and cannot just magically do the job for you.
