as we know
we can store a file freely with the os help
the os manage the io
it can put the info into bit

but now how to oracle store data file
use os api
or do it self


if do it self
how to

may be some one can give some advice

Your Question has many branches in it ..

In brief:

Oracle has command on datafiles till its creation interms of the block sizes / sizes / location etc ... Once the file is placed in O/S this is like any other file for O/S interms of its treatment ..
