hello
i need help over this plz
i have an oracle9i server on a sun solaris , even with one connection to the database there is more than 60% activity on cpu ,even its a dula cpu and the SGA is BIG enough & statistics shows eveything is fine ????

Which process is taking most of this CPU usage?
SGA size has nothing to do with this.

Use 'top' (as root) to see which process is taking that much CPU. Then post the results to this forum.

Do not give Oracle so much SGA and PGA that it exceeds (physical RAM - other memory requirements like O/S) or it will swap, using CPU.
