Can someone please provide me with a step by step on how to back up my entire Oracle 10g dbase for Windows XP. I've tried using EXP but keep getting the error:

EXP-00056: ORACLE error 12560 encountered
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

What is the Username/Password ? Is there some default Im unaware of? I would like to make a copy of the Oracle dbase to burn onto CDR.

Thanks
