hi all,
I have a p3 processor and 256mb ram. During the installation of oracle 10g there comes a prerequisite test that checks for the memory and othere options.
All test were passed but when it checked the memory , this checked failed.
It gives a warning that memory is 255mb instead of 256.
I failed to understand that when i am having 256mb of ram, why it is detecting 255. As a consequence, i had to abort the installation.
Kindly help..
