Best way... contact Oracle Support.

& BTW, its always good idea to provide platform information, in case f such errors, as it helps in easier diagnosis.

Also, please mention, if this error is often repeating or its the first time only?

And, yes, one more thing, your underlying data is safe & this particular ora-600 is caused by possible memory corruption.

Various bugs in 9201 are known to cause this error:

like Bug 2141115 : A MERGE statement with an inline view in the USING clause containing bind variables may incorrectly fail with ORA-1008 or ORA-600 [15212] errors.

Bug 2288481: SQL on a partitioned table when the object is
concurrently invalidated (eg: due to an ANALYZE)
can dump or signal ORA-600 [15212].

These are resolved in higher releases of Oracle.

Alternatively, you can try increasing shared_pool_size & then check if this issue still persists.

And how to do?

NO IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, why dont you apply the latest oracle patch i.e. 9207 for this Oracle 9i release.
This will definitely cure your issue.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
And I'll apply the higher release.
