I am trying to export the the database from instance "A" to Instance "B".

And there are some chinese character in Instance "A" which can successfully displayed by our application.

But when we export Instance A and then import this DMP file to Instance B, these chinese character cannot be displayed. but there are no error messages during the export and import process.
And both Instances are stored in the same machine.

Is there are some steps I have missed during the export and import process?

Thx

Are the NLS settings equal in both instances?

But there is NLS value which appear in Instance B only.

NLS_CSMIG_SCHEMA_VERSION=3

This values is queried by
select * from nls_database_parameters;

and what does it means?
