while doing export,i got the following error,

. exporting synonyms
. exporting views
EXP-00056: ORACLE error 1555 encountered
ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 1 with name "_SYSSMU1$" too small
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

What i've to do complete the export successfully?

Is there anyway to do export with nologging option so that this error can be avoided?

What makes you think so? You know the drill Smile
Search the forum for "ORA-01555: snapshot too old".
What is the Oracle version.
Are you using consistent=y.
Is there a lob column?

Did you ever try to search the forum?
Had you ever tried to run a search on ORA-01555, you might have found that either committing less or having a bigger RBS is the solution.
