i have a computer with no oracle installed, but visual basic 6 is installed

i am trying to connect to a machine where oracle is installed, when i am trying

to create an driver for MICROSOFT ODBC FOR ORACLE in my machine, i am getting the error

"The oracle(tm) client and networking components were not found. These
components are supplied by oracle corporation and are part of oracle version 7.3

(or greater) client software installation.

You will be unable to use this driver until these components have been installed."

my system (system A) is windows xp, visual basic 6

another system (system B) is windows 95, oracle 7.3...

i want to create tables in system B, and with the help of vb code in system A,

i want to update / insert tables in system B...

what steps should i take?

is it ok if i install the appropriate drivers in both the systems, that is the same drivers

in both the systems for this to work ? apart from lan??

As stated by the error message - you need to install the Oracle client software. For more info, see http://www.orafaq.com/faq/what_do_i_need_to_get_odbc_to_work
