I want to connect to oracle that is located to another computer on intranet from Visual Studio 2005 can anyone help me out in this, any help wud be really appericiatable Thanks.

Can you connect to this oracle database from SQL*Plus from your local client?

Hi,

In client system you have to install the Oracle client and create the tnsnames.ora then connect to your oracle database.

no, It didn't, Infact the problem is now solved by a person he uses a dll file which provides an interface for connecting vs2005 to oracle.
