I'd like to hear from anyone with experience in deploying changes to a large schema. We maintain a large complex application with thousands of database objects, and in each maintenance release there are hundreds of scheema changes.
What tools do you use? How do you package the changes? What problems did you encoutner?

You may want to look into a source control program like Rational. Tools like ClearCase and ClearQuest are quite helpful.
