Hi all,

I am facing one problem regarding the trace file entries. I am using windows XP and oracle 9i server. On the server the trace files in the UDUMP are getting created in a very large number. Right now it has occupied the 232GB space. After deleting some trace files, withing few minutes it occupied the same space. In init.ora the entry for SQL_TRACE =false. So can anyone suggest me that is there any other parameter or method to prevent the trace file entries in UDUMP.

Thanks
Vandana

Look into your alert<sid>.log.
There should be relevant entries here that would explain why trace files are generated.
