Hi,

If IP (not host name) of the Database server changes, what are changes I have to do.

Like : tnsnsmaes.ora, listener.ora

Thanks
Brian.

Hi,
check your tnsnames.ora file if you configure IP address then you have to change your IP address in tnsnames.ora file.

or

if you have configure DBCONTROL (OEM) then you have to update /etc/hosts file ( windows) for start OEM dbconsole.

Taj

Hi,

Thanks,

Will there be any issues to DB startup other than tnsnsmaes.ora, listener.ora, hosts file changes.

Eventhough tnsnsmaes.ora, listener.ora, hosts are not required for startup.

Hi,
No issue On server.
but if you try to connect from client then you have to configure listener.ora (server side) or tnsnames.ora ( client
side) otherwise your not able to connect to database through tns_entry.

regards
Taj
