Hi,

We are planing to move our machine from one location to another location, so we are going to change the IP address not the hostname. Is there any affect if we can change only tnsnames.ora on both the sides? or do we have to change any other things....

Regards,
Harsh

if you are using IP in tnsnames.ora, just chaning the same in tnsnames.ora enough.
I believe, nothing else is hardcoded in your application?

Thanks Mahesh,

That's what I was also thinking but still wanted to confirm. On application side we are not using anything.

Thanks for the reply.

Harshad
