We installed a Oracle Server for a customer. On site the server joined a active directory domain. After this, no oracle service starts. What can i do?

If we remove the server from ad-domain, all services works fine!

Greetings
Patrick

First have a look at event manager and logs to know why Oracle services don't start.

In addition, Oracle is not supported on a domain controller.

Directory %ORACLE_HOME%\<servername>_<sid>\log, search in *.log, *.trc files.

I found a quick and dirty solution in another forum:

Our customer use a different ip. For installation we use our own subnet, but the customer changes it.

I add an Entry IP + HOSTNAME to HOSTS an the ConsoleService starts correctly.
