temporary tablespace (merged) [message #276666]

In our Production database temporary tablespace is always given 100% full, After shutdown and startup database it also still.
what is the solution for reducing temporary tablespace.
My Oracle virson Oracle8.1.7

If you don't know how to "reduce temporary tablespace",
why do you think it is a worthwhile or productive accomplishment?

You should upgrade to a version supported sometime this century.
